We've recently updated how our Volunteer Opportunities Sign-Up Sheet works. Volunteers are now required to login to our website with a user account to sign up for any opportunity on the sign-up sheet. We've done this to increase security for our volunteers and website.
If you submitted a volunteer application before April 8, 2024
…and have previously volunteered with us, you'll need to register a user account on our website. You can register here. It's easy – just enter your email address as both your username and email address and click the “register” button. Make sure to use the same email address you've used to volunteer with us previously. You will receive an activation link in your email. Click that link and you'll be prompted to set an account password. Then you'll be all set and ready to sign up for volunteer opportunities again!
If you submitted a volunteer application after April 8, 2024
…you're all set. You should already have a user account for our website, activated the account and set a password during that process. You don't need to do anything else.
From now on, if you are not logged in when you visit the volunteer opportunities page, instead of a “Sign up” link on each slot of the sign-up sheet, you'll see a “Login to signup” link.
If you're logged in, it will be the simple “Sign up” link as usual!
