This is an agreement between Riverside LGBTQ+ Pride Inc. (“Us”, “We”, “Riverside Pride”, “Pride”, “Organization”.) and members of the Partnered Media representatives (“You”, “Member”, “Media”, “Partner”, or “Participant”.) who register through our “Press & Media Corps.” program. (“Program”)
In order to participate in this program, you must agree to these terms, and your participation in this program indicates your ongoing agreement with these terms. You must contact us in writing to end your agreement of these terms and request the end of your membership in this program. We may revoke membership in this program, or cancel the program entirely at any time for any or no reason.
Membership in this program is not guaranteed, and is limited. Applicants must meet certain requirements to be eligible for this program, and incomplete applications will not be considered.
As a partner you will receive special access to information about our organization before the public, some of which may be confidential, or time sensitive. You agree to keep safe and not release any information that is marked confidential, or before the posted release date. Early release or ‘leaking' of information is grounds for immediate ban from this program and may result in legal action.
In exchange for partnering with us, Riverside Pride agrees to provide partners with special access to certain personnel, quotes, information, media (images, video, etc.) and media credentials to some events. This may be events that are exclusive to members or provide priority access to members. You'll have direct access to request interviews, information, clarification, statements and answers you may need. Riverside Pride also agrees to promote your content through our outlets.
You agree to inform Riverside Pride at least 3 business days in advance of publishing any content related to our organization or events, by emailing gro.E1714027763Iedir1714027763Pedis1714027763reviR1714027763@RP1714027763 or your familiar PR representative.
While we believe strongly in freedom of speech and free journalism, you acknowledge that as a partner of our organization that we have accepted your application on the terms that you will always represent our organization and operations fairly, professionally, and without bias. If we feel that you have published content that does not align with these values, we reserve the right to revoke access to this program and any access to any activity or event related to Riverside Pride. We encourage (but do not require) you to provide a draft copy prior to publication if you have any questions about it's alignment with our cause or needs.
By joining this program, you agree not to share your login information or content with any other person, company or party that is not part of the program.
As a member of the program there are no publication requirements, but you acknowledge that the purpose of this program is to increase exposure and publicity for Riverside Pride and members should be as engaged and active as possible. Inactive memberships may be revoked at any time.
You agree that you are participating in this program voluntarily and that you assume all risks for participation, which may include but are not limited to, physical, financial or psychological injury, pain, suffering, illness, disfigurement, or disability, economic or emotional loss and even death. At no time will Riverside LGBTQ+ Pride be held liable for any risk associated with participating in this program.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless, Riverside LGBTQ+ Pride Inc, against any and all claims, suits or actions of any kind whatsoever for liability damages, compensation or otherwise brought upon you or anyone on your behalf, including attorneys fees and related costs.
Any publication of images, text, audio, video, graphics or other related media relating to our organization or events through this program, grant irrevocable perpetual license to Riverside LGBTQ+ Pride Inc to republish or share, in excerpt or in whole, said content through our normal promotional channels, including but not limited to, our website, printed event guides, and social media profiles, where the original creator and publisher are credited or referred to by a link. Riverside Pride is not authorized to grant permission to other entities or publications to publish copyrighted content.
This agreement may be updated at any time with our without notice. When possible we will make every effort to inform members of updates to this agreement.
