Well several armies and we call them committees. Here're our festival committees:
Art & Culture
The main purpose of the ART & CULTURE Committee is to infuse our event with … well ART & CULTURE. The committee will be primarily responsible for curating artists to create installations throughout the festival space, and coordination and execution of our internally designed installations.
Festival Operations (FestOps)
The purpose of the Festival Operations committee is to plan and oversee the logistics of the Pride Festival on September 4th, 2022. This includes, but is not limited to, planning logistics and traffic details, sourcing and procuring equipment and supplies, and coordinating the setup and strike of the event on the day of.
Entertainment
The Entertainment Committee curates the entertainment at the festival by seeking performers and acts that align with the organization's values. This includes booking talent as well as staffing the entertainment related venues in the festival.
Stage Crew
Stage crew are volunteers who are familiar working around a stage to do whatever's necessary. From wrangling talents onto the stage, directing backstage traffic to helping load-in and out, stage crew is there to assist the stage operations.
Exhibitor & Vendor
Curating the vendors, including food, artisan, crafters, retail and more vendors, this committee is in charge of recruiting, processing applications and making sure vendors have everything they need at the event.
Merch & Info
Before the festival, this committee plans and researches the potential official PRIDE merchandise sold at the event. They also setup, operate and strike the merchandise and info booths.
Marketing
In charge of marketing, PR and general advertising of the event. This includes everything related to social media, billboard and display advertising, interacting and working with press partners and more.
