In Riverside\, California\, Juneteenth is typically held to commemorate this important occasion. \n\n\n\nAt the event\, there are live musical performances\, spoken word poetry\, and other forms of artistic expression celebrating the African American experience. There also will be educational workshops\, panel discussions\, and other programming that explore the history and significance of Juneteenth and its continued relevance today. \n\n\n\nIn addition to the cultural and educational programming\, there will be vendors selling food\, crafts\, and other merchandise. DESCRIPTION:Riverside LGBTQ+ Pride has adopted Merrill Avenue and we need your help to keep it litter free. Join us for our street clean up every other month!  \n\n\n\nRally Spot \n\n\n\nWe will be meeting at VIP Nightclub and Restaurant parking lot.  \n\n\n\nWhat to bring \n\n\n\nTrash bags\, pickers and gloves will be provided. We will also have water jugs available. Please bring your own water bottles\, sunscreen and hats.
