When Athena is not on stage slaying\, she is also an HIV advocate. \n\n\n\n\n\n@kittendeville\n\n\nKitten de Ville\n\n\n\nKnown as “The Embodiment of Burlesque”\, Kitten de Ville performs across the United States and Europe -where she headlines with a variety of top musicians and performers from around the globe. Kitten is credited as one of the originators of the New Burlesque movement. Starting her career in 1994 with The Los Angeles based troupe The Velvet Hammer whose sold out shows were responsible for reviving the Art of Burlesque. \n\n\n\nCharlotte La Belle Araignée\n\n\n\n@charlottelabellearaignee \n\n\n\nCharlotte La Belle Araignée is an international performer and producer of the Inland Empire's first ongoing Neo-Burlesque show\, “Buckingham Burlesque”…The Starlet with all the sexy stylish moves of a spider without the nasty bite! \n\n\n\n\n\n@sirens_rhythmbeatz\n\n\nRhythm Beatz Sirens Heels Company\n\n\n\nSirens are a dance group formed to help empower women. They promote body positivity\, self love\, and empowering others to do what they love. They tore the floor of the main stage at our festival last year. \n\n\n\nWe so look forward to seeing what they come up for our gayla this year! \n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nAbout the Riverside Pride Awards Ceremony\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRiverside Pride is excited to honor individuals and organizations that have made positive contributions towards the advancement of LGBTQ+ equality and advocacy in the Inland Empire region. Award winners will be celebrated at this year's Riverside Pride Gayla. Nominees are evaluated on the basis of leadership and commitment to the LGBTQ+ community. Take a look at last year's winners. \n\n\n\nNominations closed on Sunday\, April 16th at 11:59pm. Thank you! \n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nFrequently Asked Questions\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHow are seating assigned? Individual ticket holders will be seated based on availability. Tickets from the same order will be seated together (maximum per table is 8).   Can I request to be seated next to specific attendees? To request seats next to specific attendees\, please note this request in the “Order Notes” by your billing information during checkout. We will do our best to honor all requests but cannot guarantee any seating arrangements.   Is there a dress code? This is a black-tie event – “eleganza” attire and/or looks fitting for the Moulin Rouge theme is highly recommended!

DESCRIPTION:This is a partner event that Riverside LGBTQ+ Pride will be attending. \n\n\n\nThe 3rd Annual Juneteenth Celebration hosted by The Black Collective and Iota Phi Theta -Theta Gamma Chapter. \n\n\n\nPlease come join us for a day full of festivities that include notable African American speaking\, and African Marketplace\, Foodie Area \,Kids Zone and More. \n\n\n\nJuneteenth is a significant day in American history\, marking the emancipation of enslaved African Americans in the United States. In Riverside\, California\, Juneteenth is typically held to commemorate this important occasion. \n\n\n\nAt the event\, there are live musical performances\, spoken word poetry\, and other forms of artistic expression celebrating the African American experience. There also will be educational workshops\, panel discussions\, and other programming that explore the history and significance of Juneteenth and its continued relevance today. \n\n\n\nIn addition to the cultural and educational programming\, there will be vendors selling food\, crafts\, and other merchandise. The event offers a chance for the community to come together and celebrate the achievements of African Americans throughout history\, while also reflecting on the work that still needs to be done to achieve true equality and justice for all. \n\n\n\nOverall\, the Juneteenth event in Riverside\, California is a vibrant and uplifting celebration of African American culture and history\, providing an opportunity for people of all backgrounds to come together and honor this important day in American history. \n\n\n\nRiverside LGBTQ+ Pride will have a booth at the festival.
